William Brooksbank Tall Clock

This William Brooksbank (Bradford, England) tall clock had been cut down at the top. When I removed what was left of the scrolls the evidence was clear. I was able to use the original surviving reels and rosettes when I recreated the scrolls at an appropriate height. In addition to recreating plinths and finials and one missing hood column, there was a fair amount of other damage to repair. A rubbed shellac finish brought back the natural beauty of the wood.
