Eight-day movement with unusual features. This clock shows the daily progress of the sun across the sky in the arch area. It also shows, by virtue of a curtain that rises and falls throughout the year, the time of sunrise and sunset. Above the center of the dial there are subdials that indicate the day of the week and the date of the month, and a small dial just below the center shows the age of the moon.
